Project Size/Scope: Six wings equaling 98,162 sq. ft.

Description / Overview: Re-roof of six hospital wings, totaling 98,162 sq. ft. this included the removal of the existing gravel built-up roofing, mechanical equipment, curbs and existing electrical. We installed a fully adhered temporary roof, followed by 3″ of Polyisocyanurate insulation and 1/4″ Sopra Board, over which is a mopped and modified Soprema membrane roof system. The project included all new lighting protection, new mechanical equipment, curbs tied down to roof anchors, new roof access ladders and waterproofing. The project proved to have it’s challenges as the work progressed, the hospital wings were occupied which meant accommodating to the noise and odor guidelines. This project was completed on time and on budget.
